IT Delivery Manager

  • Proven experience in managing customer relationships, program deliveries and professional services teams to customer portfolio
  • Excellence in delivery and service management, enable professional work culture with best practices and streamlined processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience of strong stakeholder management skills and strategic initiatives
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders up to C-level
  • Providing direction as supposed to control in delivery, holds teams accountable for maintaining obligations to customer. 
  • Demonstrable capabilities in articulating the customer business value that can be achieved through technology
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong experience in planning, leading and managing transitions, modernisation and  digital transformation
  • Provide technical leadership across features, projects and tools and improve service quality and engineering fundamentals.
  • Demonstrate equal strength and capability throughout the lifecycle of mid-to-large scale engagement delivery, leading global engineering team and collaborating with technical teams, architect groups, business functions and third party vendors


Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of software development experience using  .NET, C# and/or Java
  • 5+ years of people management and program management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in client relationship management, account planning,  budgeting and forecast
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electronics or Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years experience in IT Delivery and Service Management or Product Development or specialist consulting services
  • Master's Degree in IT management or computer management or IT Business Administration preferred
  • Proven experience in mid to large scale programs specific to IT modernisation or digital transformation
  • Good ITIL service management understanding with qualifications (ideally ITIL v4)
  • ITSM and Agile tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA, MS TFS, Visio, Project Plan)
  • Certified cloud solution architect with strong architectural understanding of leading cloud platforms (Azure or AWS or Google)
  • Demonstrate strong background in software development, digital payments, ecommerce especially in retail or insurance domain
  • Good understanding of DevOps automation, Robotics process Automation (RPA) and IoT concepts
  • Experience of people management in a cross-organisational and/or Matrix environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly, design and problem-solving skills, with a passion for quality
  • Good experience in defining and governing quality process, standards and best practices including Risk Management
  • Experience in leading ITmodernisation and Cloud migration to Hybrid Cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
  • Good knowledge and certification in DevOps automation in cloud environment preferred
